In the final stage of the development before a physical form was created I moved the design into a 3d program. Creating line drawings first so that I had a reference, I was able to more accurately perceive how the form would look as a 3d sculpture.

As you can see it changed quite considerably, becoming more slender and elegant and less stocky. Even once the design was finished I went back and edited it adding more drama to the line which is why the 3d renders at the bottom are different to the grey renders in the middle. The grey is the design that was finalised and sent for milling and moulding.
