As with any development for my contemporary sculptures I start with inspiration and then move to sketching once I feel I have a route to follow. With Unity ring it was different although the time constraints meant that I was not able to indulge the sketching too much. Once I had an idea and understood the form, through repeated drawing of it, I was able to move the design into an image editing program to create outline drawings for final resolution in a 3d program
