Once the drawings are done then the test comes to see how accurate the sketches were to the final out come. The form took a couple of days to create and tweak with some areas being problematic and not flowing as I would have liked but in the end I managed to resolve the form and produce something that looked great, in my eyes.
I feel that the concept works well and translated well into a beautiful form and when people see it they often say what they see. Whilst it isn’t necessarily what I intended, it shows that the piece works in communicating something. A sculpture should always aim to evoke something of it’s viewers, an opinion, a feeling or even just a remark, to be noticed is its goal.
