One of the last products I helped to develop at LEGO was Kai’s bike from Ninjago. I took the design, presented at one of the development stages, and processed it to be an on budget, age suitable and buildable toy. The design is one that I really like and there was a lot of complex construction in the mechanism that enables the wings to flick out.

The greatest challenge was that the Model was susceptible to breaking under the force of pressing the release button but after much development though the problems were solved and the model went through.
