Homify are one of Europe’s largest home resource magazine, reporting on architecture, interior design, interior decorating and construction. They allow users to upload their projects to their site and then Homify do articles on the interesting and news worthy parts. It is all really nice stuff so when they contacted me and asked me to upload my work to their site so they could feature it I was honoured, I don’t usually get asked to upload to sites, I’m usually the one asking.
Those that know my artwork will know that I often sketch the female form to keep my eye for form sharp and my drawing ability up. I was recently asked to do proposals for a client for a contemporary sculpture and it got me back into a more creative groove. I don’t know if the private commission will go ahead but never the less it was great to put pen to paper and draw again as opposed to manufacturing my geometric flower pots.
