Well as expected there was a little damaged to the master flame but a complete and utter destruction was a bit more than i had hoped.
The flame is out

Some sort of reaction with the coating meant I had scratch off the orange colour :(. Some is stuck fast though so it’s probably best as scrap now
All the peices of the mould are now done and before i pull it all apart i need to drill the side walls so that when reassembled it will all fit back together.
Moving along nicely but some problems with the drying, hopefully sort it out for next time. Only the base to do and then we’ll see how it comes out.
Trying to test the best way to acheive colour in a long lasting strong adhering way… Primer is not it. But we live and learn, better to find out now than get a complaint.
3 part of the 5 part mould is about to be started. Lots leanred on this so we’ll see what it looks like when it comes out
Section 2 of the flame sculpture, this design has been a nightmare from start to finish, i hope you like it when its complete
2 garden sculptures drying and curing, technique not yet perfected and work needs doing on the moulds
One test sculpture done but with a side missing (you can’t see that bit). More work to be done
